Financial giving

Tithes & Offerings

At Carmel City Church we believe that God calls us to a life of generosity, love and sacrifice. We see in scripture that life is about others and the only thing that we can take to heaven with us is 'people' and so this affects the way we see and use money.

We believe in the principle of the tithes & offerings and believe that if all contribute then the Church acts as a storehouse caring for those it is called to help and reach.

Bring the full tithe (10%) into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. Malachi 3:10

Good Samaritan

As a church, it has come to our attention that there are church family members who are being financially affected at this time, directly due to the corona lockdown. It is our desire, as a family to help our brothers and sisters in this time of need by setting up a Good Samaritan fund.

For those of us who have sufficient, we want to give the opportunity to make an offering of ANY amount into this special fund.

The funds will then be distributed to these people in need. The early church did a similar thing in Paul’s day and provided for the saints in need.

You can do this by bank transfer, just make sure to set the reference as 'Good Samaritan'

If you use internet banking, you can set up regular giving yourself.

You can also fill a Gift Aid form on Sunday from reception.
